Types of Braces
Metal
This is the most common type of brace.
Our office uses the latest and
most popular braces in orthodontics,
In-Ovation R metal braces. With this type of self-ligating
brace, treatment times are actually quicker! Also, elastics aren’t necessary
hold the wire in place. This results in better hygiene and
greater comfort.
Clear (Ceramic)
As an alternative to metal braces, In-Ovation C is the clear choice! Using the same self-ligating technology as the metal brace, it offers a more esthetic alternative for children or especially adults seeking something less noticeable.
Invisalign
The Invisalign System is a series of computer-generated removable
plastic trays, or aligners, that gradually move teeth into
position. Available to adults and more recently teens, this
is a very esthetic approach for minor orthodontic problems. We can determine if you are a
candidate at a consultation appointment.
Lingual (behind the teeth)
Another very esthetic approach to treatment.
Braces are placed behind the teeth rather than on
the front.
We can determine if you are a candidate at a consultation
appointment.
